10 Simple Halloween Crafts

After some research I found 10 simple and fun Halloween crafts which suit all children.

Making Halloween Cards

What you need:

  • Card or even plain paper

  • Crayons

  • Envelopes

  • Stamps

  • Printer

This was definitely my favourite idea. Logan is 1 and a half years old and at that age that everyone was excited to see his reaction to Halloween this year, so there was quite alot of disappointment with the realisation that with everything going on and restrictions coming into place we wont be seeing anyone this Halloween and we are fortunate enough that he knows no better.

So I thought why not make Halloween cards to post to his grandparents with him.

I found a great printable and I had card there so off I went printing them out. Sat him down with his crayons and off we went colouring.

Handprint Bats

  • White marker or tippex

Draw out the children's hand shape. Cut out the hand shapes. Glue them together as per the picture below, glue on the googly eyes and draw on the smile.

Tied with some string and hang them out of the ceiling.

Halloween Toilet Paper Roll Crafts

Things you will need:

Gather the empties out of the bin because lets be honest thats where they where unless you were a good planner. Get the paint out and start making your favourite Halloween characters. Stick on some googly eyes.

Why not add to the excitement and bring the kids to a park with the goal to find the perfect rocks for this, then come back and paint some spooky monsters on the rocks.

Tissue Box Monsters

What you will need:

  • Empty Tissue Box

  • Paint

  • Paintbrush

  • Googly Eyes

Use the tissue out of the box for the lollipop ghosts and then use the empty box to make the monster. Let the kids use there imagination here, cut out shapes, paint them different colour's and stock on loads of googly eyes.

Ghost Garland

What you will need:

  • White Paper

  • Scissors

  • Cellotape/Glue

  • Black Marker or Pen

These cute ghosts make easy decor for just about anywhere in your house. Start by accordion folding paper into approximately 3" sections. Then, trace a ghost shape on the top piece, making sure it has arms that connect to the edges of the paper, and cut out the shape. Repeat with more paper if you want to make it longer, and attach the strands with clear tape

I got these fabulous ideas from the websites www.goodhousekeeping.com and www.redbookmag.com, they had tonnes more great ideas but I just took the easiest and simplist ones I could find because lets be honest most of us don't have a crafts corner.

Share your ideas with me and lets get crafty!
