So my sister in law made this for us one day and it has turned into our comfort food, like we actually call it comfort food as in 'Will we make comfort food tonight?' which usually follows with 'I don't mind but I'm not cleaning up after it' ha.
There isn't a specific recipe so just use as much or little of something you may want but try it, its really delicious and is one of Logan's favourite messy dinners.
Ingredients:
Pk of Bacon lardons
Mushrooms, chopped in quarters
Linguine
1 jar of Red Pesto
1 ball of Mozerella
1 tub of cream cheese
Method:
Put recommended amount of Linguine on to cook
Start with frying the bacon lardon's until cooked
Add chopped mushrooms and fry for approx 2 minutes
Add in jar of Red Pesto, chopped Mozerella ball and the full tub of cream cheese, mix with about 3-4 tablespoons of the water from the pasta, stir until its a sauce.
Once sauce is created and linguine is cooked, mix together
And Voila!! Such a good comfort food, we cook this in a big pot and sometimes double it up for the next day, plus we always have seconds!! It's delicous!!
Try it and let me know how you get on.
