Halloween Posters and Why?

I was having a conversation with my Husband and then my Mam shortly after. My husband was saying he was nervous not about bringing Logan Trick or Treating but strangers knocking on our door trick or treating and I was saying I understand but are we suppose to hid in the house, curtains closed listening to the constant ringing of the door bell?

Then on the other side of it, I was speaking to my Mam about what was her plans for Halloween, will we come down to her and do something small for the 3 kids and will they be opening the door to trick or treater's and she was saying she doesn't think so with my Dad being very high risk.

It was playing on my mind for a few days then and me being a problem solver had to try figure out a way around this mess we call a Covid Halloween and then it dawned on me, Halloween Posters to let children and parents know if you are participating in Trick or Treating or not.

The more I thought about it I was like this is a great idea because I have an image of children going trick or treating, knocking and knocking and getting no answer and then into the next house and the same happening, it would very quickly ruin Halloween on them.

Then I thought about the high risk and the elderly being nervous about people knocking on their doors and not wanting interactions, those who have been very careful from the beginning, who have kept their distance from their family members to then have multiple strangers knocking on their doors.

I done a bit of googling and noticed in the UK and the states, their versions of county council's and stuff where giving out these posters for free. I googled and googled some more to see if anywhere in Dublin was doing it and I could not find anything. Yes you could print it out yourself if you have access to a printer but knowing Ireland's Halloween weather it will be raining so how long will it last for.

Which is where I said, I have a new coloured printer, if I buy the poster paper why not sell it at a reasonable price. The cost is €5 but it includes the more durable poster paper and delivery. For those of you interested, in both sides for or against Trick or Treating head on over to the shop page on our website:

For those of you with access to a printer, PM me and I will send you the printable version for your own use :)

Lets help each other have a Happy and Safe Halloween!!
